Compensation: $125K - $150K
Responsibilities:
The Director Investor Relations will report to the VP of IR of this established medical device company west of Boston . Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive investor relations communications plan which measurably results in effective communications to company's investors and to the financial community, and which utilizes all appropriate communications channels and venues.
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent analytic and financial modeling skills, including integrated financial statements
• In-depth understanding of capital structure management, debt and equity securities, operating and profitability measures
• Strong accounting skills including: income statements, balance sheet and statement of cash flow preparation, and the composition of line item components
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree; MBA preferred with at least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in life sciences investor relations
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to build equity and investor confidence in a complex marketplace
- Highly proficient computer skills, ability to work hands on in Excel, Power Point, SAP and Microsoft suite of applications
- Additional, relevant NIRI training a plus
