Industry: Defense - Advanced Computer Technology

Location: Greater Boston / Southern NH

Compensation: Negotiable depending upon experience

Responsibilities Responsible for all marketing communications for Advanced Computer Systems firm, including media-related initiatives and channel management. The company produces products for both national defense and commercial applications.

This 6-month contract position, located north of Boston. requires an understanding of both the defense industry environment and commercial technology-related professional services. The successful candidate will have a proven background in growing and maintaining brand equity, increasing corporate revenue and profitability and a demonstrated ability to identify and communicate knowledgeably and effectively with highly-discriminating target audiences. Excellent writing ability, knowledge of Web 2.0 and interactive marketing strategies required. Must be able to work effectively with all levels, including the  Executive Team, Technology, Business Development, and Sales.

The successful candidate may be exposed to information which is subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by EAR and ITAR: a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing communications, preferably in defense and/or technology-based industry
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to build brand equity in a complex marketplace
  • Solid background in e-commerce, channel marketing
